The role
Act as the focal person in supervising, coordinating, and implementing all activities with the municipal and barangay Local Government Unit (LGU), Rural Health Units (RHU), Barangay health station (BHU), Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) and community partners.
What you'll do
- Act as the focal person in managing, coordinating, and implementing all activities to LGU and community partners specific to Action Against Hunger Results
- Prepare work plan, regular reports, capitalization reports and lead in consolidating documents
- Organize/participate in Trainings, Workshop, Conferences and Meetings
What it takes
- Allied Health related diploma (nursing, public health, nutrition, psychology)
- Knowledge about primary health care, health promotion, maternal and child health, preventive care, public health, health management, and the health systems, together as well as mental health protocols
- Good experience in working on community-based initiatives with good reporting, initiative, and field motivation
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word Excel & Powerpoint and Share Point
- Valuable prior experience in issues related to the promotion of gender equality and child rights or personal commitment to gender equality and child rights
