The role

Inkomoko is seeking experienced entrepreneurs to serve as Business Mentors for the Mastercard Foundation-supported FAST program. Mentors will provide strategic, one-on-one virtual guidance to early-stage youth founders across East Africa to help them scale their ventures and manage grant funding. This role requires a 6-month commitment of at least 10 hours per week and focuses on fostering inclusive economic growth for young entrepreneurs.

What you'll do

  • Conduct one-on-one virtual discovery meetings to assess business health.
  • Provide technical advisory on financial management, strategy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate connections between mentees and regional industry experts.
  • Develop customized mentorship roadmaps and monthly progress reports.
  • Optional participation as a guest speaker for cohort-wide masterclasses.
