The role

The Family Preservation Supervisor oversees Family Preservation staff within an assigned region, ensuring quality services that promote child safety, family stability, and well-being.

What you'll do

  • Supervise and support Family Preservation Case Managers and Family Support Workers
  • Provide coaching, training, and trauma-informed supervision to staff
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant case documentation and service delivery
  • Coordinate with courts, community partners, and public/private agencies to meet family needs
  • Monitor referrals, assign cases, and oversee contract compliance
  • Facilitate team meetings, staff development, and program planning activities

What it takes

  • Master’s degree in Social Work or a related human services field preferred; Bachelor’s degree required
  • Current Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board licensure (LBSW, LMLP, LMFT, LPC, LCP, or equivalent) required
  • Supervisory experience in child welfare, family services, or a related field preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving requirements
