The role
The Family Preservation Supervisor oversees Family Preservation staff within an assigned region, ensuring quality services that promote child safety, family stability, and well-being.
What you'll do
- Supervise and support Family Preservation Case Managers and Family Support Workers
- Provide coaching, training, and trauma-informed supervision to staff
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant case documentation and service delivery
- Coordinate with courts, community partners, and public/private agencies to meet family needs
- Monitor referrals, assign cases, and oversee contract compliance
- Facilitate team meetings, staff development, and program planning activities
What it takes
- Master’s degree in Social Work or a related human services field preferred; Bachelor’s degree required
- Current Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board licensure (LBSW, LMLP, LMFT, LPC, LCP, or equivalent) required
- Supervisory experience in child welfare, family services, or a related field preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving requirements
