The role
Action for Children is seeking a Family Practitioner to join their early intervention substance support service in Stornoway. The role focuses on providing harm reduction support, case management, and specialist interventions for young people aged 9-18 and their families. What you'll do
- Deliver specialist 1:1 and group interventions for families and children.
- Manage lead case planning including assessing and reviewing risks.
- Provide harm reduction-based support regarding substance and alcohol use.
- Participate in multi-agency meetings to ensure analytical and reflective practice.
- Implement person-centered support for issues like mental health, trauma, and education.
