Fall Field Crew Member - AmeriCorps position with Conservation Corps New Mexico, engaging in challenging conservation service projects and learning new skills through community-based service.
What you'll do
- Complete conservation service projects such as trail construction and maintenance, invasive species management, habitat restoration, fence installation/repair, land management inventory and mapping, fire fuels reduction, and national disaster relief up to 30 days at a time.
- Work in team settings with 4 crew members and 2 crew leaders who provide project expertise, mentorship, training, and support for the success of all participants.
- Adhere to a set schedule throughout the season; exceptions can be made for emergencies.
