Perform repairs and maintenance on facilities and equipment under limited supervision. This role involves carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work, HVAC systems, and more.
What you'll do
- Maintain and repair organization's facilities and properties involving routine tasks and responsibilities.
- Correct minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and structural problems.
- Paint structures and equipment as needed.
- Repair appliances and equipment.
- Operate and service boilers, chillers, motors, fans, pumps and related mechanical equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs of various projects.
What it takes
- High School or equivalent required. May require a trade license.
- Minimum 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
- Must have basic writing and communication skills.
- May be required to have basic computer skills.
- Ability to work on a team.
- A current valid driver’s license and good driving record is required.
