Development Expertise Lab is seeking experts in Monitoring and Evaluation for a project focusing on conflict, community protection, and social cohesion in Mali and Burkina Faso.
What you'll do
- Contribute to the design or review of the evaluation methodology in coordination with the DEL team
- Participate in the development of quantitative and qualitative data collection tools
- Supervise or support field data collection, including training and mentoring of interviewers
- Ensure data quality control and track data collection performance indicators
- Analyze quantitative and/or qualitative data and contribute to the evaluation report
- Ensure adherence to ethical standards, informed consent protocols, and data protection requirements, especially for vulnerable conflict-affected populations
What it takes
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Monitoring and Evaluation of development projects
- Bachelor's or higher degree in social sciences, economics, statistics, project evaluation or related field
- Experience with data collection and analysis methods
- Experience with data collection software (SurveyCTO, KoboToolbox, ODK or equivalent)
- Fluency in French; knowledge of English and/or local languages is an asset
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with a good ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
