The role

The Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP) seeks an experienced Executive Assistant to provide administrative and project management support to the Executive Director and other senior staff.

What you'll do

  • Provides administrative and project management support to the Executive Director, Deputy Directors, and Legal Director
  • Participates in sensitive discussions on policy development, strategic decision-making, client community relations, investigations, hiring, and terminations
  • Prepares and edits routine documents for senior staff; assists with confidential material preparation and distribution
  • Collaborates on administrative projects to support process improvement
  • Arranges travel and accommodations for the executive team
  • Assists with tracking expenses and completing monthly expense reports

What it takes

  • At least ten years of senior administrative experience, preferred
  • Work in legal settings, preferred
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are encouraged
  • Strong research skills and proficiency in utilizing electronic searches and databases
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
