The role

Epidemiology Activity Manager for International Humanitarian Missions to define, coordinate, and monitor epidemiological activities, ensuring the development of appropriate methodology and the quality of studies according to MSF protocols, standards, and procedures.

What you'll do

  • Defining, scheduling and organizing the annual epidemiological activity plan
  • Supervising the epidemiological research activity
  • Advising the MSF medical team on epidemiological matters
  • Ensuring the proper handling of laboratory samples
  • Supervising data filing procedures
  • Planning and supervising the associated processes of the epidemiological staff

What it takes

  • Degree (or masters) in Epidemiology or Public Health with extensive training in statistics and epidemiology
  • Minimum 2 years practicing epidemiology related activities
  • Experience in data management/data collection, survey or outbreak investigation
  • Experience with MSF and other NGOs in developing countries
  • English (B2 or higher level)
  • Spanish (C1 or higher level)
