What you'll do
- Removes approved trees, shrubs, vines and other vegetation from project sites
- Mixes and applies herbicides (with an applicator’s license) to approved vegetation
- Seed and plant grasses, forbs, shrubs and trees
- Operates vehicles and equipment, such as passenger vehicles, brush mowers, chain saws or skid steers
- Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day
- Maintains restored sites multiple years after installation through mowing, weeding, pruning, and targeting herbicide applications
What it takes
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver's license prior to employment
- Must possess or be able to obtain a MA DOT physical card
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Pesticide Applicator's License from the State of Massachusetts
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Massachusetts Hoisting and Hydraulics License
