The role

Heritage Conservancy seeks to hire enthusiastic and passionate educators who will assist with the implementation of school-based and public educational programs for all ages on a range of topics.

What you'll do

  • Assist with implementing in-person educational programming for K-12 students at local schools and/or Heritage Conservancy preserves throughout Bucks County.
  • Engage community members in interactive educational activities at public programs and tabling events with partner organizations.
  • Lead small groups of students in hands-on activities tied to various curricular themes such as watersheds, ecosystems and more.

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in environmental science, education, related field or equivalent work experience
  • At least one year of experience working with children and/or delivering public programming
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior interpersonal skills with a commitment to cultural diversity and inclusive programming
  • Computer skills including use of Google Workspace and Microsoft Word and Excel
