The role
Support the screening and social and environmental due diligence of all projects in accordance with UNDP Social and Environmental Standards (SES), ensuring timely completion and quality assurance of required SES documentation.
What you'll do
- Support the screening and social and environmental due diligence of all projects in accordance with UNDP Social and Environmental Standards (SES).
- Provide technical feedback on SES documents to ensure alignment with UNDP SES requirements and donor frameworks.
- Support the preparation, review, and quality assurance of SES instruments such as SEIAs, ESMFs, ESMPs.
What it takes
- Minimum of 6 years with high school diploma or 3 years with bachelor’s degree in progressively responsible experience in project management, occupational health and safety.
- Experience in applying safeguards/standards within development programming, including stakeholder engagement and grievance redress mechanisms.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic languages.
