The role
Code for America is seeking an Emerging Technology & AI Governance & Enablement Lead to build the infrastructure and policies required for the responsible adoption of AI tools. This role acts as a bridge between IT, security, and staff, ensuring that AI integration aligns with organizational values and legal obligations. What you'll do
- Own the full lifecycle of the AI Acceptable Use Policy.
- Advise on the employee-facing implications of AI tool deployment.
- Facilitate training workshops and build an internal AI Champions network.
- Partner with Security Engineering to assess AI tool risk and data privacy.
- Lead change management initiatives for AI-related organizational transitions.
