The role
The Emergency Supply Chain Coordinator, Global Surge will provide technical oversight and manage supply chain functions for emergency response.
What you'll do
- Provide technical oversight of all Supply Chain functions for emergency response.
- Ensure compliance with IRC and donor policies for procurement.
- Contribute to field leadership, be a voice for the supply chain team within the unit.
- Proactively participate in BVA/Project Cycle Meetings.
- Develop and maintain country program sourcing strategy.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and reporting.
What it takes
- University degree and advanced professional certification in supply chain management.
- At least 4 years of experience managing humanitarian supply chain in multiple settings.
- Proven experience developing and managing supply chain/logistics functions in an INGO, including in emergency/conflict areas.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, recommend and implement standard methodology approaches.
- Experience in Medical Logistics & Pharmacy advantageous.
- Bilingual in English and French, Arabic and Spanish advantageous.
