The role

The Emergency Supply Chain Coordinator, Global Surge will provide technical oversight and manage supply chain functions for emergency response.

What you'll do

  • Provide technical oversight of all Supply Chain functions for emergency response.
  • Ensure compliance with IRC and donor policies for procurement.
  • Contribute to field leadership, be a voice for the supply chain team within the unit.
  • Proactively participate in BVA/Project Cycle Meetings.
  • Develop and maintain country program sourcing strategy.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and reporting.

What it takes

  • University degree and advanced professional certification in supply chain management.
  • At least 4 years of experience managing humanitarian supply chain in multiple settings.
  • Proven experience developing and managing supply chain/logistics functions in an INGO, including in emergency/conflict areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, recommend and implement standard methodology approaches.
  • Experience in Medical Logistics & Pharmacy advantageous.
  • Bilingual in English and French, Arabic and Spanish advantageous.
