The role
Lead Medair’s Ebola health response in Ituri, focusing on support of communities and Health Facilities around IPC, surveillance, referral of suspected cases, and strengthening the integration of the health activities in collaboration with Community Engagement and MHPSS activities.
What you'll do
- Develop/manage a comprehensive activity plan
- Oversee all staff based in the health project
- Ensure safety and security of Medair health assets and personnel
- Coordinate with the logistics and administration departments
- Ensure quality of medical care according to WHO and national guidelines
What it takes
- Medical Doctor preferably specialized in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Infectious diseases
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification professional experience
- Experience as Project Manager
- 1-year overseas experience in relief work with an NGO, having worked in the health sector
- Experience in Ebola/VHF or infectious disease outbreaks
- Fluency in French is an asset
