The role

The ECOWAS SME Competitiveness and Market Access Liaison Advisor will support the alignment of activities related to ATCMA ECOWAS outputs and ensure inclusive and coordinated implementation with various stakeholders.

What you'll do

  • Support the alignment of activities related to ATCMA ECOWAS outputs
  • Liaise with ECOWAS Member States and other stakeholders
  • Ensure regular communication and coordination
  • Contribute to the operationalization and monitoring of a regional Value Chain Revision Mechanism
  • Support initiatives that enhance export competitiveness
  • Prepare various written outputs and reports

What it takes

  • Advanced university degree in business administration, management, economics, sustainable development or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience
  • Experience working with ECOWAS Commission and related regional institutions
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Professionalism, communication, and teamwork competencies
  • Ability to work with EU-funded programmes
