What you'll do
- Contribute to FPG Advisory Services and Analytics
- Collect, analyze, validate, and maintain economic, fiscal, debt, external-sector, financial, and socioeconomic data
- Maintain macroeconomic databases and prepare updated medium-term macroeconomic projections
- Contribute to the preparation of Macro Poverty Outlooks, economic updates, public finance and growth diagnostics, Debt Sustainability Analysis, Country Policy and Institutional Assessments, policy notes, and other country and regional knowledge products
- Contribute to the design and implementation of financing operations
- Support the Country Management Unit in implementing the World Bank program in Mozambique
What it takes

- Solid background in macroeconomic modelling, fiscal analysis, and applied economic policy analysis
- Strong knowledge of Mozambique’s key development challenges and policy priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work with macroeconomic, fiscal, debt, external-sector, and socioeconomic datasets
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills in English and Portuguese
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural and diverse team
