The role
The Economic Empowerment AmeriCorps Member position at ReEstablish Richmond involves supporting clients in achieving their economic goals through direct and indirect services, including navigation support and resource connection.
What you'll do
- Assess client needs and goals through a full intake assessment
- Register and assess clients for Employment Navigation services
- Help clients establish a plan for goal-attainment based on the intake
- Work directly with clients through the 6-session program curriculum or match clients with trained volunteers
- Regularly follow up with clients to assess progress
- Track notes and data into client management system
What it takes
- U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident authorized to work in the U.S.
- At least 18 years old
- High school graduate, GED recipient, or working toward attaining a high school diploma/GED during term of service
- Driver’s license and a reliable vehicle
- Availability between 11am and 6pm for initial training phase
- Evening and weekend availability to work with clients
