What you'll do
- Undertake research and analysis in areas such as macroeconomic policy, fiscal policy, and financing for development.
- Support capacity development activities and the organization of workshops and other meetings.
- Prepare summary tables, graphs, and other inputs for ESCAP publications.
- Support the implementation of demonstration projects and national-level projects.
- Contribute to the research work of the Division.

- Enrolled in or have completed a graduate school programme or a final year of a first university degree programme.
- Studied areas such as macroeconomics, international economics, development economics, political economy, applied econometrics, finance, environmental studies, business administration, engineering/physics/mathematics or related areas.
- Demonstrated a keen interest in the work of the United Nations and a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter.
- Demonstrated the ability to successfully interact with individuals of different cultural backgrounds.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and multitask.
- Good drafting and oral communication skills.
