The role
PATH is seeking Ebola Response Consultants for the STRengthening Infectious disease DEtection Systems (STRIDES) Project to support surveillance, detection, and analytical capacity of infectious diseases in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, particularly in Eastern DRC.
What you'll do
- Support Ebola surveillance and epidemiological response activities
- Provide technical and operational assistance in surveillance and epidemiology
- Support case detection, alert management, and outbreak investigation
- Conduct epidemiological analyses and support contact tracing
- Support health information systems and data management
- Train and mentor response personnel

- Master’s degree in epidemiology, public health, medicine, or related field
- At least five years of relevant professional experience
- Experience supporting an Ebola outbreak or similar high-consequence infectious disease emergency
- Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English and French
- Ability to work in remote, resource-constrained, and potentially insecure environments
