The role
Performs work in the operation of a vehicle to assure safe, reliable, and timely transportation of staff, consultants, and official visitors to and from various destinations in support of the STRIDES South Sudan activity, based in Juba.
What you'll do
- Transports Country Office staff, consultants, and official visitors
- Ensures safety, cleanliness, security, and maintenance of the vehicle
- Provides day-to-day maintenance of the vehicle
- Supports transport of program supplies and equipment
- Supports occasional travel to decentralized project sites
- Fulfills special requests by picking up and delivering items

- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- 1-3 years of related driving experience
- Trade test certificate, valid driving license, and clean driving record
- Experience in the operation of large vehicles
- Familiarity with driving conditions in Juba and on unpaved or remote roads
