The role
The Michael J. Fox Foundation is seeking a Donor Services Coordinator to support daily donor services operations, including donation intake, gift documentation, and donor inquiries in a hybrid-flex position based in New York City.
What you'll do
- Serve as in-office point person for mail delivered to the office and forwarded from the Foundation’s PO Box; sort donations from general mail and prepare gifts for processing
- Serve as primary support for the donations phone line, delivering prompt, courteous, and accurate assistance to donors, fundraisers, and internal partners while documenting inquiries and follow-up needs appropriately
- Scan all donations and financial documentation, maintain electronic files, and ensure records are organized, complete, and accurate
- Support check deposits through electronic banking; prepare cash deposits and deliver them to the bank as necessary
- Prepare donation batches for data entry, set up batch templates in the CRM, and attach relevant media to support timely and accurate processing
