Disability-Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction Officer
The role
The Disability-Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DiDRR) Officer will provide technical advisory and coordination support to integrate disability inclusion into disaster risk reduction (DRR) frameworks at the state and district levels in India. The role involves conducting situational analyses, supporting the development of inclusive technical tools, and facilitating capacity-building for government stakeholders and Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs). This position aims to institutionalize disability-inclusive practices within disaster management systems to better protect marginalized communities.
