Disability-Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction Officer
The role
The Disability-Inclusive Disaster Risk Reduction (DiDRR) Officer will provide technical advisory and coordination support to integrate disability inclusion into disaster management frameworks at the state and district levels in India. The role involves conducting situational analyses, supporting inclusive policy implementation, and facilitating capacity-building for government stakeholders and Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs). This position serves as a primary technical resource to ensure disaster risk reduction systems are accessible and responsive to the needs of persons with disabilities.
