The role

What you'll do
- Lead the development and continuous refinement of CorpsAfrica’s strategy for facilitating the creation of and access to work opportunities for rural youth.
- Oversee the Program Delivery Coordinators to provide technical support to Volunteer Liaisons across all country programs.
- Support the Chief Program Officer in envisioning and articulating the strategic evolution of the CorpsAfrica service model.
- Represent CorpsAfrica at national and international forums to advocate for the organization’s mission, model, and impact.
- Develop policies, strategies, and tools for program implementation, with a focus on youth economic empowerment and job creation through community-led development.
What it takes
- A Master’s degree in international development, public policy, social sciences, or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in program leadership within the international development, volunteerism, or social impact sectors.
- At least 7 years of demonstrated expertise in youth economic inclusion and job creation in the context of community-led development.
- Proven ability to develop and implement policies, frameworks, and strategies at an organizational or multi-country level.
- Strong experience in partnership management and stakeholder engagement.
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in French is a strong asset.
