The role
The Director – Partnerships & Resource Development provides strategic leadership for resource mobilization, donor engagement, grant acquisition, and partnership development for World Vision in the Solomon Islands.
What you'll do
- Lead strategic leadership agenda for World Vision Solomon Islands
- Oversee the development, alignment, and execution of integrated resource development plans
- Foster strong collaboration among various teams
- Develop and implement a sustainable resource development strategy
- Lead the National Office Localisation Strategy
- Ensure grant acquisition and programme development approaches incorporate meaningful local partner participation
What it takes
- At least 10 years’ working experience in INGOs, NGOs, Bilateral donors
- Minimum of 10 years’ demonstrable, hands-on experience in grant acquisition
- Master’s Degree in International Development, International Relations, Rural Development, Social Science or any related field
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in Pijin, Bislama or French is an added advantage
- Demonstrated experience in localisation, locally led development, partnership brokering
