The role

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking a dynamic Director with advanced expertise in genomics and genome sequencing technologies to lead the Hartwell Center for Biotechnology Shared Resource.

What you'll do

Manages day-to-day activities of the Hartwell Center for Biotechnology and its staff
Supervises laboratory staff
Supervises performance of laboratory activities
Performs other related duties as assigned
Attends department/ institute-specific program meetings and retreats

What it takes

10+ years of experience in relevant technical field (industry or academia)
8+ years of experience with a Master’s degree
5+ years of experience with a PhD
Significant experience in a research functional area with experience managing mid-large teams in a leadership capacity
Experience having led large-scale projects/processes through to implementation
Experience with operational mgmt., budget planning, & stakeholder and resource management
