The role

The Michael J. Fox Foundation is seeking a Director of Major Gifts (East) to lead a team of fundraisers, manage a portfolio of major donors, and execute the Foundation’s major gifts strategy within assigned regions.

What you'll do

  • Lead, support, and mentor a team of frontline fundraisers
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture
  • Partner with the VP, Head of Major Gifts, to identify skill-building opportunities
  • Provide advanced coaching on solicitation strategy and donor engagement planning
  • Execute the Foundation’s major gifts strategy within assigned regions
  • Support the VP in setting annual revenue targets and implementing course corrections
