The role

OceanX Education is seeking a Director of Immersive Education Programs to lead the design, implementation, and oversight of student and educator programs across the OceanX ecosystem.

What you'll do

Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of OceanX Education’s student and educator programs
Design and implement new and existing programs
Lead and facilitate in-person program delivery
Translate immersive media concepts into learning frameworks
Ensure programs meet standards for safety, accessibility, inclusion, and participant experience
Develop multi-year roadmaps, goals, and KPIs

What it takes

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, communications, environmental science, marine biology, or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in experiential education, interdisciplinary program leadership, or immersive/creative technology education
Strong fluency in immersive media concepts and workflows
Proven leadership experience managing teams, budgets, and multi-partner initiatives
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
Passion for ocean science, exploration, and mission-driven education
