The role
The Director of Finance and IT is a key member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) providing strategic leadership and oversight of Financial Management and Information and Communication Technology (ICT) governance.
What you'll do
- Serve as a core SMT member contributing to country strategic planning
- Maintain strong relationships with financial institutions (Banks), government, and donors
- Ensure SCI financial standards are maintained
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of ICT systems
What it takes
- Master’s degree in finance or accounting or any related field
- A professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA
- 10+ years demonstrated professional experience in financial management
- Strong understanding of Controls and Compliance & audit management across development and emergency contexts
- Proven experience in budgeting and financial forecasting, donor compliance and reporting requirements
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
