What you'll do

  • Ensure financial soundness and regulatory compliance for 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) entities.
  • Develop and monitor annual budgets in collaboration with the Directors Team and Finance Committee.
  • Lead the annual audit process and oversee the preparation and filing of 990 tax forms.
  • Manage revenue processes, including invoicing, grant reporting, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Supervise the Controller and foster a culture of shared leadership within the organization.

What it takes

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • At least 5 years of experience in accrual-based accounting and GAAP.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing federal contracts and grant funds.
  • At least 5 years of audit experience and internal control design.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing direct reports and cross-functional teams.
