The role

Philanthropy Massachusetts (PMA) is seeking a Director of Development & Member Experience to lead membership growth, revenue diversification, and fundraising strategy.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute PMA’s annual development and revenue strategy
  • Grow foundation, corporate, sponsorship, and individual support
  • Identify new earned-revenue opportunities aligned with LEAP
  • Lead membership recruitment, onboarding, retention, renewal, and engagement
  • Support cultivation of strategic partnerships with foundations, corporate funders, and sector networks
  • Oversee Salesforce data quality and reporting

What it takes

  • 8+ years progressive leadership in development, membership, partnerships, or philanthropy
  • Experience in a philanthropy-serving organization, association, foundation, or nonprofit preferred
  • Salesforce or comparable CRM experience
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising, sponsorship, and membership growth
