What you'll do

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify, cultivate, and solicit major donors for gifts of $10,000 to seven figures.
  • Manage a portfolio of 100-125 donors and prospects using Salesforce-based moves management processes.
  • Collaborate with the CEO and development team to drive fundraising goals for strategic initiatives and the capital campaign.
  • Travel at least once per month to Montana cities and potentially other states to meet with prospective donors.
  • Partner with the Director of Development, Business and Corporate Relations to secure corporate partnerships.

What it takes

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in major gift fundraising with a proven track record of soliciting and closing gifts.
  • Deep understanding of and experience with donor moves management best practices.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and wealth screening tools.
