The role
The ACLU seeks a Director, National Campaigns, Abuse of Power to lead the abuse of power portfolio and other civil rights and civil liberties issues-related federal campaigns.
What you'll do
- Work closely with Divisions within NPAD and ACLU affiliates
- Support and consult with the State Campaigns Division and ACLU affiliates
- Lead a cross-functional team to develop campaign goals, strategies, and budgets
- Achieve legislative and administrative victories
- Identify areas of work and campaigns in response to unexpected developments
- Develop and maintain relationships with key allies and partner organizations
