The role

The ACLU seeks a Director, National Campaigns, Abuse of Power to lead the abuse of power portfolio and other civil rights and civil liberties issues-related federal campaigns.

What you'll do

  • Work closely with Divisions within NPAD and ACLU affiliates
  • Support and consult with the State Campaigns Division and ACLU affiliates
  • Lead a cross-functional team to develop campaign goals, strategies, and budgets
  • Achieve legislative and administrative victories
  • Identify areas of work and campaigns in response to unexpected developments
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key allies and partner organizations

  • Decisive in strategic planning with flexibility
