The role

Per Scholas is seeking a Director of AI Product Management to serve as a primary requirements analyst and solution evaluator within their AI Tech Solutions team. The role focuses on the upstream product lifecycle, including user needs assessment, requirement documentation, and rigorous solution validation. You will work cross-functionally to translate business challenges into actionable technical specifications and maintain operational process documentation. This position is vital for ensuring that proposed AI products align with user needs and organizational feasibility.

What you'll do

  • Lead structured requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Design and facilitate solution validation activities to ensure products meet defined requirements.
  • Manage a portfolio of AI products, focusing on the evaluation and planning phases of the lifecycle.
  • Develop standardized templates and operational playbooks to ensure process consistency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and departmental stakeholders to validate business cases.

What it takes

  • 5–8 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, or Technical Project Management.
  • 3+ years of formal requirements gathering and stakeholder interview experience.
  • 3+ years of experience evaluating technical products against business criteria.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain SOPs and structured documentation.
  • Experience working with non-technical stakeholders to prioritize needs.
