The role

The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is seeking a Direct Response Vice President to lead direct response fundraising strategies, including direct mail, monthly giving, and digital fundraising. This role involves setting ambitious fundraising goals, managing vendor partners, and ensuring alignment with the overall strategic plan.

What you'll do

  • Lead direct response strategy to identify, cultivate, solicit, recognize, steward, and retain individual donors
  • Work with the Chief Development Officer to set and achieve ambitious fundraising goals
  • Develop revenue and expense projections for direct response channels
  • Onboard, provide strategic direction to, and manage direct response vendor partners
  • Collaborate with all Resource Development teams to ensure alignment and optimal revenue generation
  • Define and analyze key performance indicators for all direct response revenue channels

What it takes

  • Ten years of experience in fundraising, sales management, or business development
  • Six years of staff management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
