The role
UNICEF Uganda is seeking a Digital Impact Manager to lead digital innovation and transformation across programs and operations. This role involves harnessing technology and data to enhance organizational effectiveness and improve outcomes for children. The manager will provide leadership for UNICEF Uganda’s digital impact agenda, shaping strategy and building strategic alliances with various stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Foster innovation and digital transformation (DX), and oversee piloting, evidence generation and scaling of priority Digital Transformation / Digital Impact and Innovation initiatives.
- Enhance ICT, Digital Transformation / Digital Impact and Innovation governance, collaboration, build internal and external relationships and capacity.
- Excellence in ICT services and systems to create an enabling environment for the release and management of organizational ICT services to UCO staff.
- Improve delivery results.
What it takes
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Software engineering, Information technology Management and any other related fields.
- 8 years of relevant work experience in Information Communication Technology, Digital Impact Project Management, Business Operations, Networks Information Security, Large international organizational experience and any other related fields.
- Experience in Team Leadership, Project Management, Business Analytics, Partnerships, Information Security, Audit and Risk Management.
- Fluency in English is required.
