The role
This six-month individual contractor assignment will support the quality, accessibility and day-to-day maintenance of UNDRR’s public web content.
What you'll do
- Create, update, review and publish web content across PreventionWeb and other UNDRR websites
- Maintain priority PreventionWeb pages and knowledge content
- Support World Tsunami Awareness Day content
- Maintain and improve web content supporting the tsunami scenario in the STOP DISASTERS game
- Conduct content quality assurance
- Document recurring workflows and maintain issue logs
What it takes
- First-level university degree in social sciences, communications or other relevant field
- At least 2 years of experience in web communications, digital content management or a related field
- Experience using Drupal 10, WordPress or a similar content management system
- Experience creating, reviewing and maintaining accessible web content
- Experience with web quality assurance, metadata, taxonomy, link checking or digital asset management
- Knowledge of disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation or sustainable development
