The role

This six-month individual contractor assignment will support the quality, accessibility and day-to-day maintenance of UNDRR’s public web content.

What you'll do

  • Create, update, review and publish web content across PreventionWeb and other UNDRR websites
  • Maintain priority PreventionWeb pages and knowledge content
  • Support World Tsunami Awareness Day content
  • Maintain and improve web content supporting the tsunami scenario in the STOP DISASTERS game
  • Conduct content quality assurance
  • Document recurring workflows and maintain issue logs

What it takes

  • First-level university degree in social sciences, communications or other relevant field
  • At least 2 years of experience in web communications, digital content management or a related field
  • Experience using Drupal 10, WordPress or a similar content management system
  • Experience creating, reviewing and maintaining accessible web content
  • Experience with web quality assurance, metadata, taxonomy, link checking or digital asset management
  • Knowledge of disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation or sustainable development
