The role

The R Street Institute is seeking a Digital Communications Intern to support its digital communications, multimedia, and online engagement efforts.

What you'll do

Draft social media copy for R Street research, events, videos, podcasts, and media appearances
Assist with editing short-form and long-form video content, including captions, clips, and other platform-specific content
Create and edit branded graphics, thumbnails, and other social media assets
Publish and update content in WordPress, including articles, videos, podcasts, event pages, and staff bios
Assist with social media, website, and video analytics and reporting
Help organize digital assets, content calendars, and shared files

What it takes

Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Excellent attention to detail
Familiarity with major social media platforms
Experience creating visual and multimedia content, particularly video and graphics
Basic graphic design skills, ideally using Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments
