The Deputy Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) serves as a strategic partner to the Executive Director, overseeing the daily internal operations of Human Rights Watch. This role manages key organizational functions including Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Security to drive operational excellence and organizational culture. The COO is responsible for translating strategic goals into actionable processes while fostering a diverse, high-performing global work environment.
