The role
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of Clarecare’s Day Centre Service for Older Persons in East Clare, including meals provision, social activities, and recruitment of attendees.
What you'll do
- Manage, co-ordinate and support all staff and volunteers
- Promote and deliver best-practice, person-centred care
- Oversee high-quality meals and liaise with the bus service
- Plan activities, entertainment and celebrations
- Attend relevant meetings and all mandatory training
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the overall Clarecare’s Killaloe Centre facility
What it takes
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience leading and motivating a team
- Experience of organising social activities/entertainment for groups
- Experience of supporting staff and volunteers
- Excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Email, PowerPoint, Canva)
- Consistently high standards of behaviour and performance
