Data Science Intern

The role

The Data Science Intern will support the Central Data Science team at the Vera Institute of Justice by assisting with machine learning models and building robust datasets for research. The role involves working closely with a Senior Data Scientist on data collection, document review, and code maintenance to support initiatives focused on the criminal legal system. The intern will gain hands-on experience with administrative datasets while participating in project planning and technical infrastructure discussions.
