The role
The incumbent will work in close collaboration with programme, operations and project teams to support the achievement of project objectives and organizational priorities.
What you'll do
- Develop, calculate and validate variables, indicators, and other data and information products
- Extract, process and analyse data from public databases and statistics
- Elaborate and/or support the creation of georeferenced information
- Revise all documents produced related to spatial data and information
- Provide technical support to implement activities related to collection, production, analysis and management of data, information and urban indicators
- Provide inputs for the identification of project risks
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Sociology, Political Science, Administration, Geography, Economics, Urban Studies, Statistics or related fields
- Minimum of six (6) years of experience in themes related to data analysis, reports and information for public policy, data visualization, data collection, processing and analysis
- Good computer skills in Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and Web search engines
- Knowledge of geographical information systems (GIS) software such as QGIS or ArcGIS
- Good command of programming languages such as R or Python
- Good handling of software, online platforms and other tools for data visualization
