The role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Data Analyst to join the METAL Unit within the Crisis Response, Recovery and Development department. The role involves analyzing complex internal datasets from various business systems to provide data-driven insights for leadership and program staff. The successful candidate will create dashboards, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and identify opportunities for process improvement in data collection and reporting.

What you'll do

  • Create and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports using internal systems like Integra, OTIS, Salesforce, and PID.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform global program strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including fundraising, marketing, and finance to ensure data accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in data collection and reporting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging analytics tools.

What it takes

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis.
  • 2+ years of experience in international humanitarian aid or development.
  • Proven experience with enterprise data sets and the data stack (Databr_ibricks, Python, SQL, dbt).
  • Experience with PowerBI for at least two years.
  • Strong communication skills to tell a story with numbers across various formats.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and proactively in cross-functional groups.
