The role
The Dance Arts Instructor will develop and implement dance lessons that increase students' knowledge of art principles while ensuring a safe and creative environment.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement dancing lessons that increase the knowledge of art principles as well as expand the student’s interest in dance.
- Create a safe and trusting creative environment in the Dance Studio.
- Ensure the safety of all students.
- Communicate respectfully and clearly to all students and parents.
- Handle disruptive behaviors.
- Actively participate in promoting the Y-Arts program at the YMCA and in the community.
