The role
Install and maintain civic, commercial, and private wetland, riparian, and land management projects that improve and restore ecosystems in Central Texas.
What you'll do
- Seeding, planting, weeding, trimming, mowing, watering, cleanup, erosion control
- Installation of high-quality naturalistic rockwork
- Cooperative work with a crew of 2-10 experienced landscape professionals
- Daily communication with Crew Leader and/or Project Managers
- Equipment and tool maintenance
- Safe operation of trucks, trailers, and equipment
What it takes
- One (1) year prior experience in ecological restoration or conservation
- One (1) year prior experience with native plants and stormwater infrastructure
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Highly motivated with strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work outside in extreme temperatures
