The role
This role involves managing credit placements and ensuring compliance with credit policies in a financial services organization.
What you'll do
- Monthly placement of individual credits according to the range they belong to (Junior, Senior and Master).
- Strict control over current month's renewals as part of excellent customer service delivery.
- Enforcing credit policies in line with the methodology applied to the region where services are provided.
- Recovering loans ensuring the quality of the portfolio with less than 3.0% PAR >30 days according to the end-of-month report.
- Following protocols at each stage of the credit process and conducting group visits as per payment frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly or monthly).
- Ensuring customer retention within VFM by providing quality service and immediately following up on any moratorium from the first day of delay to ensure payment through the reference group in designated institutions.
What it takes
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in credit management or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
