The role

LISC is seeking a Credit Officer for its Lending Department, responsible for managing loan pipeline and credit review processes.

What you'll do

  • Manage weekly Credit Committee materials and meetings
  • Coordinate and manage the review of loans and amendments approved by the Chief Credit Officer
  • Support the review and approval of all loan requests from intake through closing
  • Conduct internal outreach on maturing loans, circulate status updates, and coordinate the review and approval of all amendment requests
  • Develop and present trainings on credit approval process and other related topics

What it takes

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field
  • Minimum three (3) years of job-related credit analysis experience
  • Strong financial analysis skills
  • Familiarity with government subsidies and tax credit programs supporting affordable housing
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
