The role
LISC is seeking a Credit Officer for its Lending Department, responsible for managing loan pipeline and credit review processes.
What you'll do
- Manage weekly Credit Committee materials and meetings
- Coordinate and manage the review of loans and amendments approved by the Chief Credit Officer
- Support the review and approval of all loan requests from intake through closing
- Conduct internal outreach on maturing loans, circulate status updates, and coordinate the review and approval of all amendment requests
- Develop and present trainings on credit approval process and other related topics
What it takes
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field
- Minimum three (3) years of job-related credit analysis experience
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Familiarity with government subsidies and tax credit programs supporting affordable housing
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
